Yes! The Wild Kind Hearts is all about kindness and compassion. All elements are 100% vegan.
We are happy to say that our furry family members are very welcome to the Wild Kind Hearts Camp Out, but they must be kept on a lead at all times - this is to keep both them, and the sanctuary residents, safe. There will be nowhere for them to run free so it would depend on the individuals as to whether this would be prove too stressful. We would also advise keeping an eye on the weather forecast - last year was extremely hot and there is not much natural shade. If it is going to be another scorching July we would probably suggest that they stay at home for their own well-being.
Due to water pressures it was not possible to arrange showers for the festival so but there will be water points on the camping field. Let's just call it rustic, shall we?! There will also be portaloos on the festival site with additional flushing toilets within the sanctuary with sinks with running water.
Directions can be found on our 'how to get here' which will have the full address and map, as well as details of public transport links. We would encourage people to car share wherever possible and please do remember to book your parking spot when you purchase your tickets as space is at a premium!
Absolutely! We will make sure that this is managed in a way so it is not overwhelming for the residents.
Music will finish at midnight each night.
The festival opens it's doors at 4pm on the Friday and finishes at 7pm on the Sunday.
There will be a wonderful selection of food and drink stalls, as well as the sanctuary cafe and shop which will be open. We would encourage you to support these ethical businesses/charities but you are of course welcome to bring your own food and drink, as long as it is 100% vegan.
Cards are accepted both at The Retreat and also by the stallholders, but cash is preferred wherever possible as it doesn't incur a charge.
There is a wonderful line-up of activities, music and lots to hold your interest over the 3 days. Not only do we have incredible musicians, inspirational speakers, and wonderful stallholders, but we will also be hosting workshops, book signings, creative areas and more. Keep checking the website for more details....
Due to the nature of the venue wheelchairs may find the fields a little hard going. There are disabled toilets and there will be people on hand to assist - if you have a specific need, please do reach out and we will do everything we can to help.
